A sad event took place in India as India's Air India plane crashed today in Ahmadabad, which was bound to land in the UK and London. The Indian government says that the flight was scheduled to land in the UK; however, within 5 to 10 minutes of the flight, it crashed into the building near the airport. It is reported that the authorities are working to collect the bodies and searching for survivors.
It is reported that the first 242 passengers were on board and crew members; however, some reports and media representatives clarified that it was 242 passengers, including crew members, which means that there were a total of 242 people on board. It is reported there were more than 160 Indian citizens on the plane. 53 were UK nationals, and a Canadian citizen was also on the plane. The Indian government says that its best is being done to clear the area. The media say that 70% to 80% of the area where the plane crashed has been cleared.
The flight number of the plane was India's Flight No. AI171 Air, which was going to land in the UK; however, due to the unfortunate incident, it is hard to predict the survivor. It is reported that around 130 dead bodies have been found, and the search is going to find more along with the search for survivors. A Pakistani government official posted that this was a sad event, and PM Modi also posted on X about this incident.
