Donald Trump Put 50% Tariffs against EU Amid negotiations failure

US President Donald Trump posted that a tariff will be imposed on the EU from June 1st, 2025, and it will be around 50% due to the failure of the EU. He said that there is no point in talking with the EU further, as they have shown a lack of interest in a trade deal. However, the US president indirectly reminded European countries that everyone does not like China because most of the United States companies operate from China. Therefore, if Donald Trump had continued with tariffs, it is certain that households in the US, including middle-class and lower-class income, would have been hurt pretty badly. Experts in the US said that it would have declined purchases from the US if Donald Trump had continued with the tariffs against China.

US President Donald Trump is taking unprecedented moves, as no one would have thought that US President Donald Trump would reduce tariffs on Chinese exports to the US and suddenly put tariffs on European goods exported to the US. Donald Trump, in his statement, said that it is useless to negotiate with the EU, as they do not want to negotiate with the US on trade talks; therefore, he applied a 50% tariff, which will take effect on 1st June. However, there is still a chance to deal with us, as 1st June is a bit far, and a deal can happen within hours. 

It seems like the US and the European Union are not getting along with the US policies, and Donald Trump accused the EU of being made so that it can tackle the US. Therefore, the US president said that any negotiation with the EU at this stage would not be fruitful for the United States of America. 

The European Union, which was formed for the primary purpose of taking advantage of the United States on TRADE, has been very difficult to deal with. Their powerful Trade Barriers, Vat Taxes, ridiculous Corporate Penalties, Non-Monetary Trade Barriers, Monetary Manipulations, unfair and unjustified lawsuits against Americans Companies, and more, have led to a Trade Deficit with the U.S. of more than $250,000,000 a year, a number which is totally unacceptable. Our discussions with them are going nowhere! Therefore, I am recommending a straight 50% Tariff on the European Union, starting on June 1, 2025. There is no Tariff if the product is built or manufactured in the United States. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
