
First Time Indian Army Confirms Pakistan Shot Down Indian Fighter Jets
The Indian Chief of Defense Staff acknowledged that indeed Pakistan had shot down their jets and said that the jets shot down were not an issue. The real issue is to learn from the tactical errors that India made regarding this and learn from them. He said we had learned from our mistakes within 2 days. It is noteworthy that this is the first time any Indian official representative has confirmed that Pakistan shot down an Indian fighter. The back story is that Pakistan has shot down a total of 5 Indian jets which were targeting civilians in Pakistan, and it is confirmed that this includes 3 Rafael jets which were shot down by the Pakistan Army.
The military's top spokesperson also added that among the destroyed IAF fighter jets are three French-made Rafales, one Su30MKI and one MIG-29 Fulcrum.
While 26 Pakistani civilians have been martyred and 46 are injured. This is a blatant violation of international laws and an act of war against Pakistan. India has numerous times violated Pakistan's airspace. However, Pakistan has always given a mature response to India. However, this time, even international media like Reuters are reporting that there have been more than 3 jet crashes in India at different locations, including Punjab.

At midnight on 10th May 2025, Pakistan started operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, which targeted 26 key military installations in India. According to the official statement, Fateh-1 missiles were used to strike the Udhampur airbase, and Jet F-17 was used to destroy India's S-400 system at the Adampur airbase. It is stated that India's S-400 is around US $1.5 billion, and this is considered a heavy loss to the Indian government. Additionally, the hypersonic cruise missile was used to target India's S-400, which is India's backbone of its air defense. Pakistan also did not lose control over the LOC, and Pakistan was swiftly responding to LOC volition as well. The Pakistani Defense Minister said that Pakistan does not want to escalate, and if India is serious about dialogue, then we can do dialogue.
