Gov of Pak Preparing for legal action against India for Suspending IWT

The government of Pakistan confirmed that it is going to file a lawsuit against India for breaching the Indus Water Treaty agreement. It will take its case to the World Bank for breaching the contract. The Indian government violated the Indus Water Treaty on April 23rd and blamed Pakistan for their own security intelligence failure. The government of Pakistan is consulting with experienced lawyer in this regard.

The government of Pakistan is finalizing the reference against India and ensuring that in the future India does not violate international treaties by any means. The government of Pakistan has raised the issue numerous times that the Indian government always tries to find scapegoats for their own failures and blames other countries, especially Pakistan. However, even the Canadian government has said Indian authorities are terrorists as they killed a Canadian citizen in Canada due to the Sikh issue.

The World Bank treaty for Indus Water states that both of these countries cannot back away from this deal. If they want to change the agreement or any clause, then both parties will have to mutually agree on the changes or nullify the agreement, which will have to be agreed upon by both parties. However, the Indian government, without showing any substantial evidence to show that Pakistan was behind it, bluntly violated international agreements. However, the government of Pakistan is ensuring that there are no legal loopholes for this case. Additionally, it is also expected that, without even Pakistan filing a lawsuit, the World Bank itself could take notice of India bluntly violating its agreement with Pakistan. It is noteworthy that the World Bank is the guarantor of this treaty.
