India Bans IPL Coverage in Pakistan including Online Streaming
The Indian government has banned total coverage of IPL 2025 in Pakistan, including online streaming companies and broadcasting companies that have already paid the Indian government to show the coverage in Pakistan.
India's authorities are already suffering from frustration due to its failed diplomacy, and it did not get any desired support from the West, including Gulf countries to support there blame game on Pakistan. In fact, countries like the UK, the US, and China supported Pakistan's stance for doing a fair investigation for identifying those people that killed 28 people in Kashmir.
However, the Indian government blamed Pakistan falsely blamed Pakistan for that event within the span of 5 minute after the event occur. These decision and banned coverage are aftereffects of the Indian government falsely blaming 28 people who were killed in Kashmir by unknown people on the 22nd of April 2025.
India has moved a summary to stop entire coverage of the IPL in Pakistan, including highlights. Tapmad is a Pakistani sports highlight company, which is famous in Pakistan due to its production quality. Tapmad paid India to get the rights to show IPL 2025 highlights in Pakistan. However, now Tapmad will be looking towards a refund from the Indian government. It is likely that Tapmad will apply for refunds as the breach of contract is from the Indian government.
However, these kinds of events highlight that doing business with India is not reliable, especially for Pakistanis, as they never know when India can revoke the agreement and contract after the mutual agreement by Indian authorities. Therefore, it is advisable that Pakistanis avoid doing business with Indians.
