Today was the first of PSL season 10. Here are the highlights, facts, and opinions about the match.

Lahore Qalandars batted first; however, their openers failed to capitalize on the powerplay as both Fakhar Zaman and Muhammad Naeem failed to start the innings. Both batsmen were the major contributors to Lahore Qalandars' low target. Moreover, only Abdullah Shafique played a remarkable innings and made 66 runs by playing 38 balls. Additionally, Sikandar Raza played a cameo of 23 runs by playing 21 balls. Lahore Qalandars posted a score of 139 runs for Islamabad United to chase. 

While both Jason Holder (4 wickets taken) and Shahdab Khan (3 wickets taken) were the key and restricted Lahore Qalandars to just 139 runs. While Islamabad United were chasing, Salman Agha made 41 runs by playing 34 balls, and the star batsman of the day for Islamabad United, Colin Munro, made 59 runs by playing 42 balls, and they chased the target with ease and Islamabad United had 8 wickets in hand. 

Islamabad United won their first match, and Lahore Qalandars lost. Lahore Qalandars need to sort out opener issues, and they require spinners to restrict the batsmen from scoring.
