Lahore Qalandars Beat Islamabad United to Qualify for Finals

Lahore Qalandars performed brilliantly in PSL 2025 as they started shaky in the first couple of matches; however, management showed confidence, and now the team is performing to expectations. To be honest, Shaheen Shah Afridi proved the best captain in PSL season 10 as he provided the confidence in the Lahore Qalandars team that was required. Lahore Qalandars were down and out in the first couple of games in PSL season 10; however, Lahore Qalandars management showed their confidence in Muhammad Naeem, and he delivered later on, especially in this match. 

Lahore Qalandars won the toss and decided to bat first. It was a batting pitch, and experts said that Lahore Qalandars made the right call, and Islamabad United's track record in Lahore is pretty bad, as they have only won 30% of the matches held in Lahore Gaddafi Stadium. Mohammad Naeem scored 50 runs by playing only 25 balls. Kusal Perera scored 61 runs when playing 35 balls. The pick of the bowlers for Islamabad United was Tymal Mills, who took three wickets and conceded 41 runs in his 4-over spell. Salman Irshad took two wickets and conceded 40 runs in his 4-over spell. However, Lahore Qalandars managed to hit the target of 202 runs against Islamabad United. 

In reply, Salman Agha managed to make 33 runs by playing 26 balls, and Shahdab Khan managed to make 26 runs by playing 14 balls. However, Islamabad were all out at 107, and Lahore Qalandars won the match with ease. The pick of the bowlers for Lahore Qalandars was Shaheen Shah Afridi, who took three wickets and only conceded 3 runs in a 3-over spell. Salman Mirza took three wickets and conceded only 16 runs in a 4-over spell.
