Lyari building collapse Total Mounts to 27 deaths and Gov will conduct an Inquiry

There was a building collapse in the Lyari area located in Karachi, where the news outlet says that the total number of deaths is around 27. Therefore, a funeral has been held for 20 of the 27 people who lost their lives in the building collapse in Lyari’s area on Saturday night, while the search continued for others believed to be trapped under the debris for the third day in a row.

It is reported that the Sindh government's rescue teams have so far taken out 26 bodies from the rubble; among them were nine women, 15 men, a ten-year-old boy, and a girl just one and a half years old. It is reported that authorities took three survivors to the hospital for treatment, but sadly, one of them passed away later; that brought the total number of deaths to 27, according to the media.

Therefore, all the recovered bodies from the building collapse have been laid to rest at Mowach Goth Maheshwari graveyard in Baldia, and this was confirmed by the Edhi Foundation on Sunday.

The Sindh government wants people to verify the building from the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), as it would advise better in this regard. It is better to get advice from the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), as it would not allow any unsafe building to be developed in any area of Karachi. This is not the first time a building has collapsed in Lyari, and now the government will be looking for strict control of the development of buildings in this area.
