Punjab Government updates driving license fees.

Punjab Traffic Police is responsible for updating fee structures and managing licenses across the Punjab region. A valid driving license is highly required in Punjab due to strictness from traffic police, and police arresting fake driving licenses, expired driving licenses, and driving vehicles without the license are facing arrest, FIR, and bail rejection as well. 

The documents required for a license are an original ID card, a copy of the ID card, an application form, a passport-sized photo, a medical certificate from a genuine medical center, a medical certificate if the age is 50 or beyond, a learner's permit, and the relevant ticket number posted in the form of an application. 

Fees Update and effective from January 2025.

For a motorcycle license, PKR 930 is the annual fee, and plus 50 PKR is the test fee. It is almost an 800% increase compared to the previous rate, which was PKR 60 for a 5-year license.

For a rickshaw license, PKR 880 is the annual fee, plus a 100 PKR test fee.

For a car license, PKR 1830 is the annual fee, plus a 150 PKR test fee. Car license fees have also been hiked massively, as the previous rate for 5-year driver licenses was PKR 950.

The above-mentioned prices and fees are valid for one year, and the license will also be valid for one year so that people follow traffic rules and conditions and ensure a safe driving environment.
