Quetta Gladiators Beat Multan Sultans by 2 Wicket

Multan Sultans were already out of the tournament for several reasons, including the issue with the manager and CEO. Multan Sultans have been performing well in recent PSL tournaments. However, this time, both Babar Azam's and Mohammad Rizwan's teams fell flat and were unable to perform. Both Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans had good performers; however, due to management, captaincy issues, and lack of planning, it cost both these teams. T20 is not about anchoring the innings anymore, and it is about how much strike rate and runs you can contribute at a fast pace. Both Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are playing too slowly, which is also another reason these two teams are now out of the PSL 2025.

Multan Sultans started by batting first, and Yasir Khan made 45 runs by playing 25 balls. Tayyab Tahir made 36 runs by playing 24 balls, and Shahid Aziz made 29 runs by playing 14 balls. The pick of the bowlers for the Quetta Gladiators was Usman Tariq, who took three wickets and conceded 32 runs in his 4-over spell. Mohammad Wasim Jr. took 1 wicket and conceded 26 runs in this 4-over spell. While Faheem Ashraf took 1 wicket and conceded 34 runs in a 4-over spell,.

In reply, Quetta Gladiators' Hassan Nawaz managed to make 67 runs by playing 38 balls and helped Quetta Gladiators to successfully chase the target. Khawaja Nafay was able to make 51 runs by playing 25 balls and contributed significantly to the chase. The pick of the bowlers for Multan Sultans was Shahid Aziz, who took three wickets and conceded 29 runs in his 4-over spell. Quetta Gladiators successfully chased the target and beat Multan Sultans by 2 wickets.
