The Pakistan team will not qualify for the CT 2025 semi-finals

The Pakistan team will not qualify for the ICC Champions Trophy semifinals, and they are out of the tournament practically. People who are giving false hope that Pakistan still has a chance if Bangladesh beats New Zealand. Yes, technically they are right that Pakistan still has a chance to qualify if Bangladesh beats New Zealand; however, another condition to qualify is that Pakistan's net run rate is the lowest due to Pakistan's worse performance in batting, bowling, and fielding. 

Even Bangladesh will beat this current Pakistan cricket team as they have better batsmen, better bowlers, and better fielders. The Pakistan cricket team has always depended on other teams in these kinds of situations, except for the Champions Trophy 2017. This is the first time in an ICC event that the host team is out in the early stages of the event, and it does not even qualify to play in the semifinals. It is a fact that the current Pakistan team cannot even compete with the school team of any good side, let alone the international side.7

There are many liabilities in the current Pakistan cricket team, but the biggest liability is Aaqib Javed, whose job is to plan, which he did not, and select players who were not in form. This is the biggest reason why ex-PCB chairpersons do not want to hire local coaches, because they have a traditional approach and select players not on merit but on likes or dislikes.

The PCB Chairman will now require major surgery for sure, as his promise of a good performance from the Pakistani side never happened due to the fact that the PCB chair requires full-time, and if Moshin Naqvi can give his full-time and dedication towards PCB, then sure, the team would perform 100% better on this side, and there is no doubt about it. However, if Moshin Naqvi cannot give full-time, then it is time to hire a new PCB chair.

As for the current Pakistan cricket team, their Champions Trophy 2025 is over.
